 -612 View St)\n$325 per participant\n\n**Please note that this workshop is
  two full days. You must attend both days to receive your certification.\n
 \n\n\nASIST is a two-day interactive workshop in suicide first-aid. ASIST 
 teaches participants to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide a
 nd work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safet
 y. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers\, participants do
 n’t need any formal training to attend the workshop—ASIST can be learn
 ed and used by anyone aged 16+.\n\nIn the course of the two-day workshop\,
  ASIST participants learn to:\n\n 	Understand the ways personal and societ
 al attitudes affect views on suicide and interventions\n 	Provide guidance
  and suicide first-aid to a person at risk in ways that meet their individ
 ual safety needs\n 	Identify the key elements of an effective suicide safe
 ty plan and the actions required to implement it\n 	Appreciate the value o
 f improving and integrating suicide prevention resources in the community 
 at large\n 	Recognize other important aspects of suicide prevention includ
