DESCRIPTION:safeTALK (FREE) - Suicide Prevention Training Workshop\nFriday 
 October 20th\, 2023\n12:30 PM - 4:30 PM\nVancouver Island Regional Library
  - Sooke Branch\n\n\n\nsafeTALK is a half-day suicide prevention workshop 
 open to anyone\, regardless of prior experience or training. Gain knowledg
 e about how to help a person who is thinking about suicide connect to the 
 support they need.\n\nYou will learn to:\n\n• Identify people who may ha
 ve thoughts of suicide\n• Ask them directly about the possibility of sui
 cide\n• Connect them to life-saving community supports and resources\n\n
 More than 50\,000 people in 20 countries attend safeTALK each year.\n\nIn 
 honor of World Suicide Prevention Day\, CMHA BC is hosting this safeTALK t
 raining at no cost to the community.\n\nRegistration: In order to register
 \, please fill out the form below and ensure that you select the correct 
 workshop dates in the drop down menu titled "Please Select an Upcoming Wor
 kshop". \n\n$10 Deposit: After submitting the registration form\, you sho
 uld be automatically re-directed to our online payment system. Please note
  that\, due to levels of demand\, a $10 deposit is required to hold your s
 pot in this training. All deposits will be refunded after attending the wo
 rkshop. If you do not attend the workshop\, and do not cancel at least 72 
 hours beforehand\, CMHA BC will retain this deposit. By paying the deposit
 \, you are agreeing to these terms.\n\nIf you experience any difficulties
